What is a GDPR audit?
An audit tells you what you are doing right and where your data protection practices could be improved. It gives you the big picture of the personal data in your organisation, how it flows around and who you share it with.
At the end of the audit process, you will have a report with recommendations and, depending on the package, a record of all personal data processing in your organisation, new policies and trained staff. I’ll work with you every step of the way to implement my recommendations in a manner that strengthens and works well with your business.

The data protection audit process
During a data protection audit, I’ll visit your organisation and spend time with your team. I like to see your senior leadership team, HR, sales, finance, marketing, IT and any other departments that process data. I’ll interview selected staff and ask questions such as ‘what data do you have?’, ‘why do you have it?’, ‘where is it stored?’ and ‘who do you share it with?’.
An audit is a fact-finding mission, not an inquistion! I’m here to help you and your staff improve your data protection practices.
