Sapphire is doing really well. He still makes a bit of a mess at meal times but is learning to eat and is improving. He likes to keep a close eye on the team when they are getting ready to clean and feed in his hospital pen. See the video!
Sapphire is quite the character and has now had his first swim. After Christmas, he will most likely move the nursery pools, which is the next step of the rehabilitation process. There he will be able to interact with the other pups and continue learning “how to be a seal”, before his release back into the wild.
